After releasing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Manchester United are speeding their pursuit of signing big names for the club as the Red Devils are appearing in the Champions League for next season. In order to win more trophies next season, the club is eyeing some world class players for 2017/18 season.
Here comes the Manchester United's transfer targets for 2017/18:
Alvaro Morata
Manchester United have agreed a £64 million fee for Alvaro Morata, who will travel to England for a medical on Monday, according to reports in Spain.
The Real Madrid striker had been tipped for a move to Old Trafford since any deal to sign Antoine Griezmann became unlikely following Fifa’s decision to uphold Atletico Madrid’s transfer fan.The 24-year-old will travel to Manchester on Monday to finalise the move.
Victor Lindelof
the 22-year-old will travel to Manchester after Sweden’s friendly against Norway on Tuesday night where he will complete the move to Jose Mourinho’s side.
Lindelof will undergo a medical on Wednesday before signing a five-year contract with United. The report also claims that the Sweden international has told friends he is exciting about the prospect of his move to Old Trafford.
Andrea Belotti
Manchester United reportedly want to sign strikers Andrea Belotti and Alvaro Morata before the end of June.
The Red Devils have agreed terms with Real Madrid's Morata and offered £70 million for Torino star Belotti. The striker scored 28 goals for Torino last season and Mourinho is in the market for a player in his position. Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata is rumoured to be the No.1 choice for United but Marcotti suggests it’s heading towards potentially both Morata and Belotti going to Old Trafford.
Gareth Bale
The Wales international struggled for form and fitness last season, managing just nine goals across all competitions as a result.
With Real being linked moves for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe, Bale could even find himself out in the cold despite costing them £80million four years ago and Manchester United are ready to lure Gareth Bale to Old Trafford.
Gelson Martins
The Red Devils have joined the race for the 22-year-old. Martins has a contract in Lisbon until 2022 with his release cause reportedly set at £46.5million.
He enjoyed a stellar campaign in Portugal this season, scoring seven goals and laying on 14 more for his teammates in 44 appearances. Sporting seem to be under pressure to sell their big-name players after failing to qualify for next season's Champions League and Manchester United is keen to sign the player.
Ivan Perisic
Manchester United are reportedly still in talks with Inter Milan over a deal for Ivan Perisic after their opening offer was rejected. Perisic has caught the attention of Jose Mourinho,
as the Portuguese tactician seeks to make improvements to his squad in an effort to to turn his side into title contenders next term. Inter Milan, meanwhile, are battling to meet Financial Fair Play requirements and recent reports have suggested they could sell him to balance the books. Mourinho has already sent scouts to run the rule over the 28-year-old and has received positive reports.
Felipe Anderson
Lazio’s Felipe Anderson admits he ‘dreams’ of joining a club like Manchester United. The 24-year-old, who has made over 100 appearances for Lazio since signing from Santos in 2013,
has been repeatedly linked with a move to Old Trafford. Man Utd to seal £35m transfer on Wednesday as new signing agrees huge contract. Anderson was said to be on the verge of joining the Red Devils in 2015 but his proposed switch to United collapsed. But he could sign for Mnachester United this time.
