Chelsea To Battle Barcelona and Real Madrid For the World's Best Midfielder

Chelsea are even more closer than Real Madrid and Barcelona to lure one of the best midfielders in the world. Chelsea appear to have been offered major encouragement in their reported pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain midfield mastermind Marco Verratti.

Barcelona have offered a whopping £66M in exchange for Verratti, but that proposal is thought to have been snubbed by PSG.

Unless anyone comes forward with a bid in the region of £88M this summer, Verratti will not be leaving the Parc des Princes. The Italian outlet believe that Barcelona have no intention of paying that sort of figure.
