A team never remains the same every season. Players join the team, work hard for the team, feels the ,but the time comes when he retires from Football. The one who leaves without making history are not called legends but Legends are the one who makes HISTORY.

Here comes the Top 5 Legends who are retiring in 2017.

Philipp Lahm 
Philipp Lahm is one of the greatest defenders in soccer history.
He’s one of the greatest players in German history. He ended his career Saturday for Bayern Munich with eight Bundesliga titles and one Champions League title plus the 2014 World Cup, which ended his tenure representing his county.Lahm is 33. He’s still great at what he does, but he has other interests. And his retirement preserves a pretty unbelievable streak: Lahm made 517 appearances for Bayern and 113 for Germany without every being sent off, be it for a red card or two yellows. Lahm was all class and skill. He made tackles without aggression, instead using pinpoint precision for his plays on the ball.



Dirk Kuyt
Kuyt announced his retirement from football on 17 May 2017 after helping Feyenoord win this season's Eredivisie title.
The former Liverpool striker confirmed his decision on Wednesday, days after scoring a hat-trick in the 3-1 win over Heracles that secured the club's first league title since 1999. Kuyt first left Feyenoord in 2006 to join Premier League side Liverpool. He helped the Reds to a UEFA Champions League final appearance in his first season, where he scored in a 2-1 defeat to AC Milan. The former Netherlands international also won the Carling Cup with Liverpool in 2012.
Kuyt also called winning the title with Feyenoord "the best moment of my career".



Xabi Alonso
Bayern Munich's ex-Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso 35, has retire at the end of the season.
Having started his career at Sociedad, Alonso joined Liverpool in 2004 and was an influential part of Rafael Benítez’s side that won an unforgettable Champions League final against Milan in 2005.In his five years at the Bernabéu he was part of another winning Champions League campaign, despite being suspended for the final in 2014, as well as a league title and two Copa del Rey triumphs.
He also enjoyed a glittering career with Spain, making 114 appearances for his country and helping them win the 2010 World Cup and two European Championships.



Frank Lampard
Former Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard has retired, bringing to an end a 21-year professional career.
The 38-year-old, who spent last year with New York City in Major League Soccer in the US, announced his decision on social media on Thursday. Lampard is also Chelsea’s all-time leading goalscorer, with 211 goals in 649 appearances, and captained the club in their greatest achievement – winning the 2012 Champions League final, when he played a pivotal role – and in the Europa League final the following season.



Francesco Totti
Francesco Totti says his "love for football will never fade" as he prepares for "the last time I can wear Roma's jersey" on Sunday.
The 40-year-old Italian has end his 24-year career and become a director at the only club he has played for. He has scored 307 goals in 783 appearances since making his Roma debut in March 1993 at the age of 16. This season he has made 27 appearances, mostly as a substitute. Roma are second in the table, four points behind newly-crowned champions Juventus before the final day of the season on Sunday.
